Voter Registration

Dear PVT Coalition Members,
Thank you for your partnership, and for all the volunteers who helped canvass Precinct 300 in July! We gathered 60 new Vote-By-Mail ballot requests from registered progressive voters this month.
Statistics show that people who receive Vote-By-Mail ballots are more likely to vote because we can track our own ballot. If we increase progressive voter turnout, WE CAN WIN!!!
We’re continuing canvassing in Precinct 306 in September. We need more volunteers to help GOTV (Get Out and Vote) for the very important General Election. Democratic voters chose Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum as candidate for governor. Now, we must GOTV to elect him and other progressive candidates on November 6. In order to take back the U.S. Congress and Senate, we must elect Justice Democrat Sanjay Patel and re-elect Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson.
We’re canvassing on the 15th and 22nd of September. We will encourage registered voters to to request Mail-In-ballots. This will allow them to receive their ballot early, mark their ballot in the comfort of their own home. and avoid harassment at the polls on election day, and track their ballot to confirm their votes have been counted.
Please forward the following information to your members/volunteers:
September canvassing dates and location: Saturday, September 15 and 22nd from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Please check in at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 2729 Lipscomb Street, Melbourne, FL 32901. We will be in the John W. Taylor Family Life Center (next to the church) prior to each shift to distribute walk packets. Our church host is James Minus, President of the South Brevard NAACP.
Volunteer shifts are: 1)  10:00 AM – Noon     2)  Noon – 2:00 PM      3)  2:00 – 4:00 PM

• Please choose the dates and shifts most convenient for you, then contact:

The Power of 5

Register Now and Mobilize Your 5

There’s power in 5.

In the 5 letters of this Association.

And days away from our most critical fight.

This election season, we are asking everyone to give us 5:

Register 5 new voters.
Do this before the deadline.

Ensure that 5 people get to the polls.
Ideally the folks you have registered.

Volunteer – 5 minutes, 5 hours or 5 days.
Make sure we have the highest turnout ever!

If we each register and mobilize our 5, we can defeat any and all political giants who stand in our way!
